Review Policy

Welcome to the review policy page. While Rehab and Relapse hosts reviews of books handpicked by the blogger on their own volition, the author is open to book review requests.

If you are interested in sending a book for review (as a publisher/an author) please note that Rehab and Relapse is primarily a single-reviewer blog that occasionally hosts guest reviewers. The blog currently accepts texts written in English, Ndebele, and Shona that are not genre-specific. 

Review copies are accepted in eBook format (compatible with Kindle) and physical copies. Upon acceptance of the review request, the review publication timeline is between 3-8 weeks after receiving the review copy.

Prioritization can also be considered upon arrangement. For review requests, anything bookish events, and book launch invites, you can contact the blogger through the contact form.

The reviews aim to be an objective commentary on primary themes, tones, plots, styles of writing, and general view of the work. Books may be compared to the author’s previous work or other similar works by contemporaries. Reviews are posted on the Website, Instagram and Twitter.
